One year old family photos at home | The Dunn Family
This crew invited me to their home on a bright summer day for a family session to celebrate baby boy turning one. While many families will choose to have lifestyle newborn photos at home, I met this little guy when he was just hours old for a Fresh 48 session in the hospital. This made our session at home even more special, as we got to capture details of that environment like his nursery and the way he’s grown into this family over the year.
There’s something so magical about witnessing how relationships become so comfortable through daily life together.
Instead of a big cake smash, we simply let him try a cupcake on the front porch at the end of our session. Big sis encouraged (and excitedly shared!) the treats with both her little brother and the family dog. I will always and forever be obsessed with the simplicity and lightness that comes from family photos at home.
