Terra Ethos - Interior artist

The owner (Kelly) came to me at the beginning of her business journey while she was planning the launch of her brand and website for nature-inspired art pieces. She needed images that would support her brand presence and embody the energy of the art she would be selling. She envisioned the imagery as a bridge between the art itself and her brand mission of transformation, grounding energy, and honoring nature.

Objectives

Kelly wanted images that would position her brand with an elevated feel to align with the quality of her pieces. She also wanted them to reflect the key source of her inspiration - nature. With her website under construction, the imagery would play a key role in the concept and overall vibe or her online presence.

Brand development

Content

As a new business, Kelly knew she needed ways to market her work without only just showing her pieces. Branded imagery would give her something to work with when blogging and publishing articles about her sources, her process, and more.

ARTISTIC STORYTELLING

Because Kelly dreamed of offering a variety of multimedia products and services, she wanted photos that would aid in the brand essence more than the products themselves or personal brand.  We aimed to create images that focussed on the natural contexts, colors, and textures with the artist as a subtle artifact.

From Kelly:

Seriously, Leah!!! These almost brought me to tears. I am so in love with what we created! To say you nailed the vision is an understatement, you totally helped bring it out of me and to life and I'm so grateful.

They are all just incredibly beautiful.  And the fog - as mystical as we imagined.

I just can't say enough. I am so touched by your work and I look forward to creating again in the future.

Maybe your online presence needs that artistic touch, a lifestyle element of connectivity - whether it's with other people or nature  or any other source.  Maybe you're stuck with showing stale product photos when what you really need is something to amplify the heart and soul of the work. Maybe it's time to build some strategy into the images you share instead of any old random iphone shot...
